Surrounded by meadows and forests, you can enjoy the nature of the Thuringian Forest and plenty of space for shared activities.

18 rooms with 52 beds and 5 possible extra beds, each with a private bathroom with shower and toilet, plus group rooms and common areas, a recreation room with table tennis, table football and darts, and a large outdoor area with a barbecue space and volleyball court.

Accommodation with meals

All prices include VAT and are per person per night. Bed linen and towels are included. Sun–Thu and Fri–Sat refer to the nights of your stay.

Children aged up to 2 stay free in their parents’ bed. Group offers for 35 or more guests are available on request. Check-in from 15:00; please arrive by 18:00. Check-out by 10:00. Please arrange any exceptions in advance.

Haus Rosenbaum Exklusiv

A group house for exclusive use by the Rennsteig – our exclusive-use offer

Exclusive use of the house with self-catering: ideal for clubs, group trips and family reunions. The base price covers up to 40 guests and a maximum of 18 rooms; up to 15 additional guests can stay for a supplement. Under the price list and booking conditions, the exclusive-use offer has a maximum occupancy of 55 guests.

Use of the kitchen, dining room, traditional lounge, games room and outdoor areas is included. Further services and conditions are set out in the relevant documents. Please request your individual offer.

Rooms, leisure facilities and equipment

For stays with meals, the following rates apply in both pricing periods: 80 m² group/rehearsal room including an electric piano, €80 per day; 45 m² seminar room in the adjoining building, €50 per day. For exclusive use, the rates are also €80 and €50 respectively in 2026/27; from 1 October 2027, the exclusive-use price list specifies €90 and €60 per day respectively. Seminar equipment with projector, screen and flip chart: €30. Sauna: €5 per person. For conference bookings, the room and package rates listed below apply.

Conferences and seminars in the Thuringian Forest – rooms, arrangements and enquiries

Learn, plan and develop new ideas together, right by the Rennsteig. Here you will find our conference offers for 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 and from 1 October 2027. All prices include VAT. Please refer to the individual tables and notes for the applicable conference, room, equipment, catering and overnight rates for your dates.

Conference packages per person per day

For groups of 10 or more, with up to 8 hours of agreed conference time per day. Self-service drinks with refills. Proof of student status is required for the student rate. For day bookings, rooms, equipment and meals are charged additionally.

Conference rooms and seminar equipment

• 45 m² seminar room in the adjoining building: €60 per day until 30 September 2027; from 1 October 2027, €50 per day for the group.
• 80 m² group/rehearsal room including an electric piano: €90 per day until 30 September 2027; from 1 October 2027, €80 per day for the group.
• Projector, screen and flip chart: €30 per booking, charged once per event for up to 3 conference days.

Rooms and seating arrangements depend on group size and availability. Rooms and equipment are charged in addition to the conference package.

Fresh refreshments for your breaks

Thuringian barbecue evening

We prepare everything; you do the barbecuing! Per person: one Thuringian bratwurst and one marinated steak, plus barbecue vegetables, grilling cheese, a selection of salads, bread and dips. Barbecue, utensils and fuel are included. Vegetarian alternative by arrangement.

For groups of 10 or more: €20 per guest or €16 per student per evening. Drinks are charged separately according to consumption; no barbecue cooking service is included. With half or full board, any evening meal replaced by the barbecue is credited in the individual offer.

Exclusive use: late check-out until 14:00, subject to availability and prior agreement: €100 until 30 September 2027; €150 from 1 October 2027.

Booking and payment

A 20% deposit is due upon receipt of the booking confirmation; the balance is due no later than 28 days before arrival. For bookings made at shorter notice, the full price is due upon receipt of the booking confirmation. Cancellations, changes and other conditions are governed by the relevant terms and conditions dated October 2026.
